Breckenridge Travel Guide
Welcome to Breckenridge!
A premier, year-round resort town, Breckenridge is a rural Colorado destination offering a wide array of lodging options, including vacation home rentals, cabins and lodges with spas. One of the more popular summer activities here is golfing at the Breckenridge Golf Club, where multiple 9- and 18-hole courses are on offer, including Jack Nicklaus-designed signature courses. Other summer recreation takes advantage of the nearby Colorado River, including rafting and kayaking. In the winter, the Breckenridge Resort provides a convenient base for skiing and snowboarding. For a guided tour of Breckenridge, numerous tour companies offer sightseeing with sleigh and carriage rides and visitors have the option of renting a jeep for a self-guided tour of the town. While driving around and exploring, make a stop at a pub or cigar bar on Breckenridge's historic Main Street to enjoy hand-crafted ales and other special brews.
