Once an old mining town now but now a fully-fledged world-class ski resort, Breckenridge boasts skiing on four mountain peaks and a quaint village and town teeming with apres-ski activities. Its four peaks, numbered 7 through 10, offer skiing for all abilities and ages, while the resort's Victorian-style village has been entirely restored to provide lots of warmth and charm. The town of Breckenridge itself is located at an elevation of 9,600 ft (2,900 m), making it one of the higher ski resorts in Colorado. Day care facilities are available at all three base sites, accommodating children as young as two months up to five years. Snowboard enthusiasts will appreciate the variety and challenge offered by these peaks.

Gold Run Nordic Center + My Favorites
The Gold Run Nordic Center has 20+ groomed kilometers of skating and classic trails, in addition to a network of backcountry touring and snowshoe trails. A rental shop that offers skating equipment, snowshoes and special packages are also available.
